Yes it is much easier to blame others rather than take action which may actually make a real difference. My grand parents use to say "everybody has a hand and a brain as well as the next" This was their slogan when people would moan and groan about how they thought (In their version of God) they needed someone to help them all of the time. Calling out for help and handouts when they should be getting off their duffs and making something happen.
I hear so called preachers doing this, going on about how they can't make ends meet, begging for money for this and that.
God has given each of us everything we need to make it thru so all of this whining out to HIM for almost nothing is very childish.
Not everyone is as grown up as the next, huh?
Last year I was mad about the environment going to hell so I planted 140 tree's on my property,Poplar, lilac and fir. This year I plan to plant 200 more including 100 Saskatoon tree's to help feed the critters. I remember everyone was shaking their head--- it's too much work, it will cost a fortune. No mother nature provides everything we need and I went to my friends farms and harvested as many small suckers from the trees as I wanted for free. I started them in buckets with a little fertilizer then built my own tree planter from scrap metal which was also free. In retrospect it was pretty easy but the hardest part was getting past the self-doubt, getting off my ass and getting it done. I hope to plant over 1000 tree's for under a $100 input in 5 years. Where there is a will there is a way and as I said the self-doubt and over thinking the problem is the hardest part in my opinion.

On population reduction, they are already well on the way to reaching their goal.
We have 7 billion of which 25% are likely to die of cancer and probably a similar amount with heart disease because of their soft kill weapons. Add to that Fukushima and the DU being spread al over the world and you can see cancer will rise again significantly.
They have death panels, and population reduction from vaccines and foods, even if we stop them now I would not be surprised at all, if the global population fell to 3.5 billion in the next 1 to 200 years.

Psychopaths have a completely different inner landscape than normal humans, there is a genetic component to their behavior, and the evidence suggests it represents an alternative breeding strategy within the human population. The modern day human is defined by his emotional inner life, while some may have deeper emotions then others there is the potential for empathy, sadness, love, anger, and guilt within us all. Compassion, understanding, and altruistic acts are some of our highest qualities, and again the potential for such acts is how I define a human.Originally posted by mbrownn View PostMany of us are dead already, but just don't know it
Psychopaths are genetically and biologically incapable of such behaviors and emotions. They may mimic, or create the illusion of behaving nobly, however with a little attention to detail, and careful observations their facade can easily been seen for what it is. Repeatedly, with a cold, calculating intellect they can perform the most heinous acts of pedophilia, cannibalism, murder, rape and torture without batting an eye. What's worse is that their thinking, or paralogic, if accepted by a normal human mind will slowly twist the thought processes, allowing the psychopath to effectively manipulate a normal human to do his bidding. Robert Hare and Paul Babiak demonstrate how this process works in detail in Snakes in Suits, and Andrej Lobaczewski gave a more macrosocial approach to the phenomenon in Political Ponerology.
Moreover, they have a unique biology: ranging from increased corpus callosums - which orchestrates complex interactions between the attention, arousal and emotion (Raine, et al. 2003), smaller amygdalas - long recognized as a key component in emotional processing, moral reasoning, and social interaction (Yang, et al, 2009), and fMRI scans which show a distinct failure of normal brain activation when psychopaths are charged with an emotive task (Kiehl, et al, 2006). These few examples are but the tip of the iceberg when it comes to their biological differences from normal humans.
As such, the problem is quite evolutionary; without an understanding of this new subspecies, their capabilities, and how they differ from us we will be 'as sheep amongst the wolves', ripe for the picking. Given the political and economic scandals of the last ten years, it's amazing that this topic has not received further attention. It also explains how large banking conglomerates, corporations and intelligence agencies can function without a moral compass, sacrificing the lives of countless innocent people and justifying their actions with an appropriate ideological mask. The phenomenon of psychopathy affects the lives of everyone on the planet, and we as a society require a comprehensive understanding if we are to navigate the difficult waters of the new millennium.

Individual Action
Yes, I agree that individual action, passive, non-violent, is effective. Education is important and will be effective with those who will listen. The tide is changing. At the same time, there is a difficult time ahead and some will be better prepared than others.
Faith will be important to help you avoid discouragement. If you don't practice belief in what you believe in, you will likely cop out. That is why I say think, Think, THINK. Kind of like IBM's Watson.
I still think good must come from a good God. I don't see how it can be any other way. If Satan, or Evil, or Self is your god, I think that is a problem.
Some people will want to take the "rule of law" into their own hands. I only hope they are invigorated by good. Like the war stories, you had better pray that the good guys win. There is much more to learn. I think the Bible has a lot of wisdom, if one is willing to study what it says. There is a reason why science has been successful and technology is widespread. Don't be afraid to do the math and apply the laws of physics.

Yes, that is correct, although I don't know the actual biology of it, and I believe that the psychologists don't really know that either, as this is another profession that has been hijacked to sell pharmaceuticals. I have read that it is something to do with the R complex of the brain. Maybe this is what you are describing.
No, im not going to get diverted into discussing shape shifting reptiles, another diversion, although I am fully aware of the historical record on the subject. Like religion, that is also deeply connected with this subject, it cannot be proven so it would be a pointless argument in view of the more pressing problems we have.
I will discuss briefly causes, as this is part of the education process, and I know many people on this forum are well informed. What I am more interested in is hearing, is what actions you personally have taken? Sharing those actions with other like minded people, no matter how small they may be, is what encourages others to take their own action.
I have said no to a body scan at the airport, had a pat-down and momentarily had my balls lifted, This I objected to by just saying "Hey!", the security guard smiled with total embarrassment and rapidly completed his search. It wasn't a big deal, I knew and he knew, that it wasn't acceptable, and I felt pity for the guy. I don't feel pity for the goons and paedophiles that seek out this job and get off on it.
I buy largely, in ways that avoid the big corporations, processed food and encourage small organic growers. I avoid toxic products and GMO as much as is possible.
I have found natural herbal and food products very effective in treating illness, even curing my elderly mother of diabetes. It has even got to the stage where people ask me how to cure things, obviously my knowledge is limited, and all advice that I give is followed by check it out for yourself, do your own research and don't just accept what I say.
Even some people that play the stock market, have asked what I think about some investments, as they have learned that what I say on the economy has some accuracy.
Little me, that lives in a small hut, in a little insignificant corner of the world, is making a difference, so you can too.

Be strong is the command still yet today. We are created so well able to perform any task and don't need God as baby sitter, hell why not entertain HIM a little is what I say.
After all we don't need nothin else to get any job done being so well equip from birth to do almost anything.
We have it all. A little thank you in our private lives to HIM goes along way. You never come into the presence of a great King complaining how you can't make ends meet, begging for assistance.
This makes the King feel like HE is not running HIS kingdom right. HE as King is supposed to run things in a way that makes the lives of his people something to rejoice over.
All these people holy rolling on floors gittering all over and knocking each other over has nothing to do with THE KING.
We are the most blessed people of any generation with money, jobs, wealth, knowledge, technology you name it and people think GOD? WHAT MORE COULD WE GET?
I don't care what they all do in some so called warped cHurch service, I been looking at this for awhile and I have decided that THE KING can see me and hear me every second.
Trust me HE is there in everything you do. HE cares.
Great job on the trees. I bought this house and land from my wifes dad. One day we were out back talking about the trees. I was cutting down some of the old dead wood. He said he had planted many of these trees and wanted me to take care of his work so to speak.
Not just cut it down for no good reason. I said these trees if dead are good for firewood right? Sure he said. I said what? Cut them all down? Are you kidding, it would require that I quit my job and go full time to ever put dent in it, out back here.
If I blink so to speak around here the trees will grow over my road to the back property. Out here in Kansas they planted some fast growing trees and man O man they can be a job to just keep under control.

Al,
I fully concur with your postings on psychopaths. I DO think that that they are a genetic mutation which has formed a 'sub-species'; and their #'s, as a % of the total population, is rising dramatically.
And the factors contributing to this rise are that, in 'modern' civilisation, being a sociopath/psychopath gives them advantages, as in survival of the fittest.
Put another way, our modern civilisation encorages psychpathic behavior. THATS something to think about.
As for what i'm doing about it, Me and mine have also totally divorced ourself from the whole healthcare system; despite ACA, we reject 'health insurance', Dr.'s, and hospitals, etc.
Its NOT for everyone, but we 'treat' ourselves.
We've likewise divorced ourselves from the financial system, as much as practical for us; no, we don't barter for everything, but we DON'T use credit, at all.
We are not dependent on 911, for our protection, from 'bad guys', or fire, or medical emergencies.
There is still much of society we ARE dependent on, but we do what we can.
One way I look at it is this; H/G's, as individuals and small groups, took dict responsibility for supplying themselves with all their necesities; Food, potable water, clothing, shelter and energy.
In our modern civilisation, we have increased considerably the things we consider necesities, and come to rely on long, tenuos supply chains FOR those necesities.
So, if you make a list of all the things in your life which are 'necesities', view objectively the 'supply chain' you rely on for those necesities, and then do what you can to either divorce yourself from the supply chain totally, or at least change how you do things, so the 'supply chain' becomes a secondary, "back-up", you are making progress.
Simple example; Most people, living in 'the city', rely on 911; if attacked, all 911. If your house is on fire, get everyone out and wait for the firetrucks. Medical emergency? Call 911!
We are armed, so aren't putting ouelves in a siation where our only option is to cower in a closet, and pray the police get here in time.
In the event of a fire, have a 'sprinkler system' that will extinguish any fire.
For medical emergencies, took EMT course, and have fully stocked emergency kit; can cast a brok bone, (and have done so, twice), and am prepared to deal with most medical emergencies.
None of this eliminates us from using 911 services, we just aren't depending on it.
Anyway, thats how i look on it, and I find it a useful viewpoint. Jim

I was reading some time ago about how an area of the brain called the R complex is responsible for psychopathic behaviour (often called the reptilian brain) your post seemed to be about that area of the brain, and that is why I made reference to it. I'm still trying to find peer reviewed documentation on the function of the pituitary gland, but as yet I think its a mystery to modern science.Originally posted by aljhoa View PostThe references posted point to neurological problems inbred by psychopaths thus procreating a subspecies of man not reptilians.

Al
One of the pressing problems is what you are posting about, the disproportionate number of psychopaths in positions of power. As well as the inbreeding of the elites we have several other things to overcome.
Corruption selecting psychopaths for positions of power.
A system that encourages this behaviour causing normal people to act in this way
The pharmaceutical drugs that cause this type of behaviour and their rapid growth of use.
On Inbreeding just check out the lineage of Kate Middleton.
There are many others, but it does not serve well for me to go on listing them as I am looking for solutions. Like dutchdivco, I have also removed myself from most of the mainstream pharmacology, resulting in better health and lower costs. I will be controversial here and say if the whole of psychiatric medicine was shut down we would have less psychiatric problems, less murders and suicides. I think you know many of the high profile cases that I could cite. Again education is key to solving this problem.
I do believe we need to change the subspecies that the overlords have become, but in truth the opposite is happening. Through the whole of society psychopathic behaviour is seen to be acceptable, successful and in general rewarded. We are being changed through brainwashing and pharmaceutical drugs to behave in this manor. Add to that the genetic changes that are being forced upon us, there is no wonder why we are in trouble (GMO's Vaccines etc).
I must say you have been very accurate, as far as I can tell, on this subject
