Thought this was good news, that a deal for buying the Wafdenclyffe site was arranged yesterday. Well done all who donated.

Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe deal Struck

David Blaine has his 1,000,000 Volts Tesla tower thing going on right now too. Tesla's name is getting out there..faster than a trickle.
Nobody needs to be a fanboy to see the historical significance of saving the site and showcasing the guys experiments life.
Next job, the Wardenclyffe tower itself. I'd move to New York to help to build that !
In fact, wouldn't it be so very fitting for Eric Dollard to be employed as the in-house projects advisor.
And Nikola was seen to scurry underground, shaking his head. As I understand the system, if there was plasma breakout from the top, it meant the energy wasn't being contained by the cupola. One night, it fired bolts of electricity into the sky.Last edited by Slider2732; 10-06-2012, 09:38 PM.

Not to be the pessimist but I doubt that's ever going to happen. It would obviously be the most sensible thing, but we're not into doing sensible things are weOriginally posted by Slider2732 View PostIn fact, wouldn't it be so very fitting for Eric Dollard to be employed as the in-house projects advisor.
Are we going to have an useless building filled with "interesting" but otherwise useless information like every other museum, or actual projects being worked on? Are the people involved capable of reading things and actually building the projects properly? I don't have high hopes at all I'm afraid.

GOOD IDEA ..If only it were possible.
The likely hood of Eric Dollard getting involved is extreamely low. However if it were remotely possible, if he could be or was contracted to work there or get involved with an actual Tesla site in some way; it might just be one of the few things on earth that could pull him out of his depression over the loss of Landers and his equipment. A new endevour, a new start, before all is lost and poor Eric decays away in the bushes. He's not dead yet, given enough motovation this idea or change might just save his life?Originally posted by Slider2732 View PostIn fact, wouldn't it be so very fitting for Eric Dollard to be employed as the in-house projects advisor.

Contacting Marc Seifer, striking a deal and getting Eric there with a place to stay and a roll to play, would be the hardest part. How would Eric go over there?! I't be a bit like Crocodile Dundee in New York? A strange & awkward situation. At least though if Dollard were there, even with his odd and unique ways, It almost be like having Tesla himself back on site.
I wonder if the underground connection to the earth still exists, along with the staircase going down?
Marc Seifer is a good man, I have heard him on Coast to Coast AM and have read some of his books. Perhaps a joint effort from the EF members and other Dollard supporters could make this happen? What has Eric got to loose?

Not to pry or invade privacy
A thought,
I work at a place on the north shore not far from shoreham,[Wardenclyffe]
this part is "touchy"
I work with people [all ages]who have been beat down by life and lacked the skills to make good decisions ,they turned to "self medicating" .and could not stop,or control the merciless beast of addiction.
It is a philanthropic organization Run by a lifelong friend.
I do not know what is going on with Mr.D ,but a have a very strong feeling
This could be part of his story,...getting a clear head for a fresh start can make all the difference.
If this is the case he could possibly have a place to stay, not far away.
I do not ever make these kind of Posts in open forum ,
If anyone has even the most remote belief that this could help.
PM me.
Its what we do.........
Thx
Chet

It almost be like having Tesla himself back on site
Anyone in good keeping with Eric ? i'm sure there are many in his thread on the forum. I'm sure a lot of people see this is as a natural course, as GSM said. But, obviously Eric himself would have to want to take the step.
I watched his walk around the old Marconi radio site in CA on YouTube the other day...the wealth of info and the radio experiments were very powerful. The new owners are probably familiar with Mr. Dollard, but if not, they just need to view the stickied thread here and watch some Borderland videos.
@RAMSET - Another piece drops potentially into place and thank you i'm sure from many of us who have this thought.
@Sputins - So many great minds end up poor, relegated, forgotten.
If the new owners don't really have a definite aim, not sure how to go about acknowledging Tesla's work, then let it be furthered !
From small modern solid state systems like Slayer's great circuits, to larger fuller wireless systems, the exhibits choose themselves. But also the myriad of present daily used Tesla Patent inventions that won't be realised by the public.
Perhaps an R/C boat exhibit, a replica of one of Tesla's and a modern 2.4GHz version. I mean, what else are they to do with that empty space behind the building where a 200kw tower once stood ?
And I dare them to even think of lighting the place with wired bulbs !

If somebody can get the person involved in organizing the Tesla Museum to accept Eric's input, I'll tell Eric the next time that I speak to him and see if he would be interested in the idea. I mentioned something to him before about it, but he thinks that it is probably filled with disinformants so he didn't seem all that interested. If somebody can get the museum developers interested in really listening to Eric's input, he might be more inclined to give it a shot.

I will need a pitch.
Dave
I would be more than happy to meet with the people at the site.[meeting with people is what I do ].
What I would need to know is ,How you would market this to the museum? ,first impressions are lasting.
A short sweet powerful "pitch" ,that would educate the listener to the obvious potential of such an arrangement.

I believe a few other things would need to be discussed first?
I can be reached at Chetkremens@gmail.com

Tesla Science Centre:
Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe
It seems the Tower base has been completely filled. The deeper layers with concrete the upper layers with clean fill.
(see photos).

OK, so we (they) need a backhoe and plenty of shovels. Thanks for the pics.
Nothing stops dedication and drive
Presumably AGFA did the filling and, also presumably someone is around who did it.
They would know of the procedure, what was found under the ground and the general layout of any tunneling. One may presume they did all this to form less of a chance of a collapse, as in mining fills.
Perhaps a few drawings still exist of the underground layout, that formed a work plan ?
If nothing else, the concrete will have run through the tunnels and preserved their shape. It may be a bonus, in a quirky way.Last edited by Slider2732; 10-09-2012, 10:06 PM.

I donated 25.2 dollars (So it would be am multiple of 3
). I'm glad to see that the deal worked out.
I think the main idea for this center right now is to educate people on Nikola Tesla, and I think that should be the main focus at this moment. After the center captures Tesla and his work as they are, then I think the center should move forward to accomplish what he wanted to.
We cannot progress without first informing the masses. Otherwise we will be doomed to failure, as we will be looked on as inane crazy's.

A working museum, with real science taking place there, to do that would require someone very familiar with Tesla's work, hence E.D.
Funding through museum entry fees, selling real science gadgets made on site, A donation box etc
Ok its not a perfect sales pitch but you get the Idea.
