    • Hi h4y6d2e.I don't know what Jon Depew is doing with those spinning rotors and i ain't holding my breath that he will disclose his methods and contruction details any time soon so the best i can do is guess and speculate that there is a high torque motor rotating a diametric magnet via a gearbox. This diametric magnet is acting as a magnetic cog to the next magnet which is acting as a cog to the next and so on and the motor is capable of turning the combined load of all the rotors but i know this won't be what he is doing but something a lot more amazing probably involving harmonics.
I can tell you what we are using as a rotor which looks pretty similar and they can magnetically interact with each other so you can get a small grid going.
We use a diametric cylinder magnet with a small hole in which we place a small steel ball bearing as a pivot.Hope this helps.Jonny

      • I had a brief chat with John Depew about a year or more ago. He uses extracted harmonics of B flat. There are interesting facts about this particular vibration such as its use in classical music and vibration of black holes.
I was under impression that my 4 rotating rotors (dia magnetized cylinders with satellite small neos attached) have something in common with - what appeared to me at that time - his expanded grid. I was wrong.

        • appreciate you guys at least responding. i am just curious what he is using for tops. they dont just look like a magnet with a ball on the bottom. i understand he's all secretive with his grid - which in my opinion is fine as his grid doesn't and won't do anything relevant to the grand scheme of things. i just thought his tops were cool and wondered what they were made of.

i currently correspond with a french inventor who invented electromagnetic static levitation and work on designs stemming from this technology:

There's a very exciting new video just posted by Skycollection entitled "Rodin Z44N". He places a closed loop pickup coil connected to a rectifier inside the core of a Rodin torus power coil, and generates COP > 2.5 by induction under his mag lev spinner. This video demonstrates the validity of my "Lenz Propulsion" theory. Have a look at it:

Unfortunately he only shows the current when connecting the bulb. The open coil voltage drops when the bulb is connected. Listen to the motor slow down considerably under load. Guaranteed, the voltage also dropped. Electrical output power is measured in watts. Voltage x Current AT THE SAME TIME. This guy needs to learn simple measuring methods.

                @zooty,

How right you are! Thanks for pointing that out. I wrote his youtube site and asked him to remeasure the output voltage after the load drop.

                • Hi All,

New video of a new device in the one magnet no bearing form:

                  • T coil spinner

Just back from the "Orchcnys" after a hot lead to ground fracus. Sensational new video. I spun a 1/2 inch sphere up inside the core of an off the shelf skein of 36 AWG magnet wire held horizontally through the core of an upright Spiral Coil. I needed a starter coil to get it up to speed like yours. Tested for "Lenz Propusion" effect, but got shocked horrificly shorting the output coil. Very similar to your setup. Got to watch it!

                    • Problems With Magnet Rotation

                      Hi All

I have built a one magnet, no bearing bedini motor to jonny davro's design and after days of frustration I have not been able to get the magnet to spin. The detail of my build are as follows:

Bifilar Twisted Coil (awg 23 wire) (air core) (1000 turns)
                      Relay coil
                      10K and 1K Pot
                      100 Ohm Resistor
                      3055 Transistor
                      Neon
                      660 uF Capacitor (450 V)
                      1n4007 Diodes
                      0.25, 0.5 and 1 inch neospheres (n42)
                      9 V Battery

When I connect the battery the capacitor charges to 89.4 V, the neon light glows and as I adjust the resistance the bifilar coil makes a high pitched note like it is singing. The neo sphere is in a plastic dish on top of the coil with silicon oil for lubrication and the magnet migrates to the edge of the coil. As I spin a second magnet near the coil it makes the neosphere spin momentarily before returning to a stationary position.

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

                      Doug

                      • May replace your 100 ohm Resistor to a 10 Ohm Resistor, that you get a lower switching frequency. You can adust it later for a higher Frequency.

                          @Boohah

Sounds like you may have your coil wires mixed up. Try the Daftman's Bedini layout with a charge battery. I get that ringing sound and no pulse when I get my coil wires mixed up.

                          • HI Boohah.I think it is a resistance issue like Joit.Your circuit is running as soon as you add power so it is in self oscillation mode due to high base resistance.
To start the magnet spinning the circuit has to be triggered by the magnet otherwise the coil is just acting as an electromagnet and either attracting or repulsing the sphere and not pulsing just at the right time.
When the magnet is spinning, base resistance can be increased so the circuit will enter self oscillation mode but the magnet is synced in with the pulse frequency so it keeps spinning.
So basically you want a bedini circuit which is not running as soon as you add power. An ampmeter in series is a good idea to confirm this and you can see if the circuit fires when you spin the magnet.
To start mine,i usually have the 1k set at 1k and the 10k set at 0 ohms so 1100 ohms resistance at start up,get your multimeter and just confirm the pot values and that you know the 0 ohm positions.
Let us know how you get on.Jonny

                            • Thanks for the fast replies. I followed your lead first Joit and replaced the 100 ohm resitor with a 10 ohm resistor but to no avail. I then tried your solution Jonny and still no luck.

With the 10 k pot set to 0 and the 1 K pot set to 1 K, the neon light is on and the high pitched noise is present. I then wound the I K pot down to 375 ohms and the buzzing stopped and the neon went out. From this resistance the circuit is no longer oscillating on startup so I switched the circuit off and discharged the caps. I started it up again and still no rotation of the magnet although it does spin for longer on momentum alone when prompted by the starter magnet. I have tried a few other resistances but 375 ohms seems to be the cutoff.

                              Hope this helps

                              • Hi Boohah.A few more things to try.Firstly have you added your amp meter to the circuit to see if the circuit fires when you spin the magnet?I use an analogue meter as it is easy to see the needle flick when triggered.
You may also be running your magnet too close to the coil in the vertical arrangement you have at the moment. Can you rearrange the coil magnet setup so the coil is lying on its side and the magnet is on a small concave mirror or glass saucer. This will allow you to change the distance between magnet and coil easily and also allow a good spin by hand.
Could you also try it using 2 AA batteries as the power source and if no luck, try the basic ssg circuit shown here.We just want to get a spinner and then we can re introduce components to bring the current draw down.Let us know how you go.Jonny.
