  • Leaked footage over Fukishima reactors Melted rods hurry before its taken down

Check out these very clear video of Reactors.Already removed by user! Sorry.

Just thought some have not see the real damage.

Very likely that this vid will not be up for too long. So i uploaded to Energetictube.com as well. Click here to watch it @ Energetictube.com.

I backed it up at Energetictube.com

My appologies for my mis-spelling Fukushima in the thread title. Actually i named this thread poorly. The term "melted" was one that was passed along by the original uploader. I shouldn't have used it because i can't claim to see melted rods. I do see a pile of rod like objects all over the place, could be spent rods that were stored in levels above the exploding reactor. Pure speculation by me. That is why i would like to know a bit more about what we are seeing in that video. Anyone with any knowledge of the inner working of such a plant would have better information. Please chime in if you can explain anything about what we are seeing.
Thought there was a good chance that the vid my not be up at Youtube for long, so i backed it up at Energetictube.com.

      Here's a link to it at Energetictube.com

Looking like containment isn't very likely any more.

Not sure exactly how old this is but it only had 1 viewer when i saw it on youtube. Was refered there by uploader, and not sure how he got it.

          Even mainstream media

(NBC NEWS) admitted, last night, that "radiation" from Japan had hit the west coast of US.They then went on to say there was no risk, amount of radiation much less than an x-ray, etc.Without differenciating between radiation, which goes right thru you, as in an x-ray, and RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT, which you inhale, ingest, etc, and stays in your body for a long time, causing cell damage. And most people keep believing them.Even tho 4 days ago, they were saying "No way radiation from Japan could reach the US."
Ahhh, well the experiment is coming to an end, only a matter of how long, till the experimenter decides to pull the plug.Jim

We need to put this into perspective.

We are talking about milisieverts and nanosievert and it does not sound much. When I worked at a nuclear facility, I believe the maximum yearly dose was one millisievert per year and a chest x-ray is 50 nanosievert. An old wristwatch would give a reading on a Geiger counter no less than a spec of plutonium some short distance away so why be worried?.

The best explanation of this is given by Hirose Takashi. And he confirms what I have said. This is taken from an interview for counterpunch.

                Recommend watching...

I would highly recommend watching, "The Battle of Chernobyl". It has some very intimate documentation of the disaster and the heroic efforts to quell the radiation leak.

The sad part is that you can never do anything with the melted down magma from the uranium fuel rods. In Chernobyl there is a very large mass of it that has a half life of 200 000+ years! This is literally a permanent fixture on this planet. Biological systems and even electronic mechanized robots can not function in this environment. What this means is that Chernobyl, and possibly Fukushima will forever serve as a grave symbol of humanity's inability to utilize technology. These places will not recover completely and life will never flourish there again. These are mistakes by the human race!

Big freaking mistakes! These reactors should not be allowed to continue to be built! Anything is better that this. I would live with out an electrical infrastructure if it meant these plants could be shut down. These are FAR to unstable times to be running these insane devices.

If we are not already successfully building and utilizing Low Energy Fission devices then we need to put a hold on what we "Think" we can do as a species with Nuclear energy.

                  Microseverts, Microrads, Rads

Reports are using the term microseverts. A microsevert is equal to 100 microrads The allowable average yearly dose per an adult human is 5 rads or 5,000,000 microrads (50,000 microseverts). Again, that is a yearly dose, a daily maximum average dose would be that divided by 365, or 13,690 microrads (137 microseverts) per day. If the reports say hourly dose, then divide by 24 and you get 570 microrads (5.7 microseverts) per hour.

                    Exactly what I was saying

mbrownn, its not the radiation, its the irradiated fallout. They are now saying there is radioactive iodine in the water supply, twice the safe dosage for children; there is no safe dosage of radioactive iodine. Its concentrated in the thyroid, as is any iodine which we ingest.
In addition to the very permanent monuments to stupidity and hubris of chernoble and now in Japan, there is the spent material. No country has yet developed a viable program with dealing with the waste. They are just piling it up; where?,.....in pools next to the power plants, cause they don't have anywhere else to store it.
Civilisation is a 13000 year old experiment. And it doesn't work.;-( Jim

They are admitting to in excess of 400 milisieverts per hour.

                          Wrong question

Nuclear power station only exits via government. No rational sensible educated human being would accept this as a safe form of power....

Oxymoron; your talking about the Gov't., and then talking about rational, sensible and educated. One of the main reasons for limited Gov't., is that due to greed, hubris, complacency, laziness and 'unintended/unforeseen consequences' in any human endeavor there will be screw ups; its human nature.

Gov't actions are so sweeping, and effect so many peoples lives, that LOTS of people can be adversely effected. For the same reasons, you want to restrict technology; Due to human nature, there will be screw-ups.
If a gas station, or a coal fire powerplant has an accident, some people will die, some may have to be evacuated, and there may be some negative environmental impact.Cherynoble and now Fukishima make it clear this technology exceeds our ability to manage it.

Actually, all this talk about 'alternative energy' and "solving" the energy problems is wasted effort. There is no solution, the way the problem is being framed; the problem is consumption. And no, I don't simply mean conservation, although people are on a consistent path towards greater and greater per capita consumption.

The problem is there are simply to many fu**ing people in the world, with thousands more being born every minute. And no one is addressing this, except the Chinese.Well, everyone says, yeah, the Chinese.India's population is actually growing faster than China, and will surpass them within 20-30 years. This is the elephant in the room, that no one is talking about.Reduce our population by 1/2, say, and all of our resource problems are greatly reduced, or eliminated.Don't address population growth, and any attempts to address resource problems; Food, Energy, employment/economics are quite simply insoluble.Gonna have about as much effect as p*ssing in the ocean.Jim

Even consumption can curved by a simple modification to the AC grid system. I don't know how to do it myself, all we need to do is collect and reimpose the the power on the neutral lines. Which eventually go to ground anyway.

We have been measuring the neutral line coming out of the shop. The power is of course at a different scale but watt for watt 80 percent of it is still present on the wire. But then gets dumped to ground.

So the right mind could make this happen, through a low voltage potential, collecting that energy then an apparatus to step it back up to grid power levels. At minimum this would yield a 50% drop in consumption and could be incorporated into all transformers. If someone had a good mind to do it.

Population control is not an option. Unfortunately!

                              Great, matt

Assuming what your saying about the neutral line, etc, could be made to work, you would just be feeding the beast.

Working out, on your own, small scale operations, like turning waste plastic into fuel, or the friction boiler, so individuals can adopt "Living off grid" as a metaphor, and a phylosophy, and a way to prepare for whats coming, yes.

Alternative energy to 'feed the beast', and prolongue the machine for a few more years; NO! When I say off the grid as a metaphor; the most accepted path to off the grid is first develop a small system, that can be used as a backup, in case of disruption. Then build on that, so that the grid becomes your backup, and eventually becomes irrelevent.

We all live at the end of very long, tenuous supply lines, or grids. We have become totally dependent on them for our 'necessities', and have greatly increased the list of what we think of as necessities. Originally Food, Potable water and shelter from the elements was the list.We now have Medical care/insurance, Public safety (911, Fire, Police, ambulance, ER and hospitals)
Energy in various forms (Electric grid, Transportation fuel, etc) Employment,Financial services, communication and information, and the list goes on.All of these necessities come to us through supply lines. If you use "Off the grid" as a metaphor, or pattern, you CAN do the same thing; initially, develop a 'backup' system, then, build on that knowledge to develop a system independent of the 'grid', and simply have the grid as a backup.

This is the only sensible coarse I see, for any thinking individual.Catrina showed us what happens when you call 911, and no one answers.Gas shortages, well we got lots of examples of that.Financial crises we see collapse of 'employment grid', and whole housing/mortgage financial services grid. And the list goes on.Anyone who feels any confidence in the existing Grid structures is burying their head in the sand.

Anyway, thats what I am doing; gradually working to divorce myself from as many of these grids as I can. I see no other coarse.Jim
