Tit, Tat, Tit, Tat....
@Bits:
Thank you for the info on your battery charger, looks like you have thought a lot about it but still kept it simple. I reckon it would hardly draw any current, you should state the current draw of the device because this is a really good selling point!
I know you may never release a specification sheet... but you should also add what comes in the box? Power supply? Cables? Relays? Etc. Just a friendly tip!
On a personal note I would be interested to know what type of relays you are using in your setup?
I am impressed, I think I may purchase one. Of course in a full setup in my opinion you would require two or more of these devices. Thats why after purchasing yours I intend to catch up on my PIC programming and build my own 8 battery switcher. I want to support you Bits, to the tune of $1200, but I also want to learn how to build one so I can customize to my device.
I agree with kippered, Bits swapper is great for those people scared of PIC programming but have the skills to build a large machine.
Where there is a demand, why not fill it!
Don't complain about the cost, thats Bits's business decision, sure you could prob build one for $100 - but it would also take you a week or two!
Once again thanks for the info Bits, I look forward to the final information and pictures when you launch the product properly.
Ozy

but, some of you need to plain grow up!
), I will be using deep cycle marine batteries in my setup and therefore can discharge them well below 10.5V which is prob the cutoff for bit's swapper. Is Bit's swapper configurable? Can you change the voltages that it changes batteries at? This is important, as if it can not be configured, it is useless for deep cycle batteries.
