  • Energy out of WIFI Signals

If this works then you could "collect" the energy of thousends of mobile phones, radios's etc..

    Does this weaken the signal?

Theoretically it does not weaken the signal, but the mobile monopolists will find a way to intervene or charge you for doing that.
The outcome is not that spectacular. Look up Joe tate circuits, they dont produce LOTS of energy. Maybe enough the charge a small battery.

Occasionally searched Powercast Corporation P1110 P1200 P2100 clovertown RF Energy receiver integrated circuit, receive Mobil Phone signal output voltage 5.25V current 50mA. But the price of expensive integrated circuits. $35.00 USD

Have to do this study it?

Energy out of crystal radio sets

I just posted this question yesterday in another thread here. I think it would work as I have believed it would for years now to harvest DC from all radio waves.
