Great job you're doing and have done on this!

I saw a program on pbs last week concerning this meeting. It featured one of the cabinet members from Bangladesh. As one of the developing countries who would receive lot's of money from the "big polluters" (which he defined as China, India, and the U.S.) for polluting his air and causing so much damage to his country, he was practically giddy with anticipation.

As he will now, hopefully, not be receiving said monies it is no wonder he, and others like him, are furious.

As usual, it's all about the money, not the environment. Sad.

I took a break and watched video.

I have always thought the sun played an important part no matter what the climate model.

BUT, my issue with the global warming debate is that it is like being given the democrat or republican choices to choose from as if they were my own...2 heads of the same snake...

We're being given the global warming is real or global warming is fake options to pick from and the point is really moot if either is real.

Last year, we had record breaking snow fall and coldness so are we going into an ice age?

This year, right now, is the warmest late fall time that I remember in my life whenever I've been in this area.

Personally, my belief is that it doesn't matter if global warming is true or false because if it gets HOT or gets COLD, I know one thing... I want to breathe clean air so the issue I have is clean energy technologies so that we can decrease global health issues due to serious pollution, destroying the quality of our water ways and air, etc....

I believe there is no debate as to the fact that we are making our world dirtier and dirtier and it gets worse every year. Does any of that make the world warmer or colder? Let's say it goes either way...that means we need to still solve the pollution problem no matter what the impact is on global temperature. Even if the temperature stays the same for the next million years, CLEAN is desirable compared to dirty.

There are those that promote global warming as being man made...that is fine...and there are those that promote it as being natural or even that there is none...that is fine too. Again, I just want clean air and water to pass down to the next generation and the next and the next.

Therefore, Imhotep's CLF, Peter's Electric Motor Secrets, Bedini's SSG, Luc's Water Sparkplug and other powerful open source energy technology products will get us there and it is still irrelevant if we are making the Earth hot or cold.

These are responsible technologies being developed by responsible people that want a responsible world. The same can offshoot to healing technologies, etc... and the list is endless.

Anyway, even if there is zero pollution from oil usage, etc..., the mass majority of the human population would still be an economic slave to the system and clean, renewable, not-as-profitable (I said "not as" doesn't mean "it isn't" profitable) technologies can free us from that slave system... so we can be free and breathe clean air at the same time.

So, regardless of cause of climate change...of whatever that change happens to be...clean, independent, renewable energy technologies....with an awakened consciousness that can appreciate them...is what we need for a sustainable future....cold or hot...we need them and that is what we are moving towards.

The language needs to change from global warming to economic and health freedom.

I agree with your sentiments. It really don't matter whether global warming is true or a myth what's important is for us to live in a clean environment.

My take on global warming is simply we don't know anything. Having read the collective works of Immanuel Velikovsky the conclusion is inescapable that there are electrical forces at work in the cosmos and they are completely ignored in the current scientific paradigm.

The work of Hannes Alfven describing the electrical circuit of the sun also corresponds with Tesla's contention that the sun is a giant anode, a receiver of electrical energy from the greater cosmos. Confirmation of this theory has come in the form of predictions about the nature of comets tails and the emerging work in plasma cosmology. So we have a so called climate "science" which involves putting everything you think you know into a computer and getting "predictions" out. Garbage in/garbage out, in my opinion. Meanwhile, they are ignoring some of the primary forces at work in the universe and inevitably with our planet and atmosphere.

This idea of a "consensus" in the science is sheer propaganda. That it comes from the U.N is terrifying. After the climate gate email leak there really should not have been any credibility left for the science. Falsifying data, scientific censorship of dissenting views, attempting to re-write history by removing the Medieval Warming Period is abominable. Maybe these clowns think the ends justify the means, but don't ask me to consider this "science" as anything other than bunk.

This video has some very interesting evidence presented in favor of the electrical theory of the cosmos (the Sun stuff is towards the end). My contention is that this is in no way cut and dried science, but the evidence they present is primary falsifying criteria for some of the currently accepted models. This means, as I originally stated, we don't know anything. Certainly not enough to base policy decisions on, whether on a national or international scale.

Research findings published by none other than CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, in the journal Nature which holds cosmic rays and the Sun, not human activities, responsible for global warming, isn't exactly what Gore would welcome right now.

CERN, which created and operates the Large Hadron Collider, has now built a stainless steel chamber that precisely recreates the Earth's atmosphere. In this chamber, 63 CERN scientists from 17 European and American institutes demonstrated that cosmic rays promote the formation of molecules which grow in Earth's atmosphere and seed clouds, making it cloudier and cooler.

"Because the sun's magnetic field controls how many cosmic rays reach Earth's atmosphere (the stronger the sun's magnetic field, the more it shields Earth from incoming cosmic rays from space), the sun determines the temperature on Earth," Lawrence Solomon, director of Energy Probe, wrote about the experiment.

Within a day, chairman of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), Bert Bolin, denounced the theory, saying, "I find the move from this pair scientifically extremely naive and irresponsible."

"Although they never said so, the High Priests of the Inconvenient Truth - in such temples as NASA-GISS, Penn State and the University of East Anglia - always knew that Svensmark's cosmic ray hypothesis was the principal threat to their sketchy and poorly modelled notions of self-amplifying action of greenhouse gases," Nigel Calder, well-known science writer wrote about the CERN findings. "In telling how the obviously large influences of the Sun in previous centuries and millennia could be explained, and in applying the same mechanism to the 20th warming, Svensmark put the alarmist predictions at risk - and with them the billions of dollars flowing from anxious governments into the global warming enterprise."

Wow something useful from CERN.

Cost billions to tell us what is obvious, the sun is the major factor in the earths climate. Congrats to them they probably decided to check it out after reading this thread. It has been mentioned by a few of us. Would have cost a bunch for that little piece of logic.

So what now for Gillard I wonder ? Will her nose get longer from telling lies ?

If carbon really was a problem and a result of human activity, it would be made worse by greed for money. So monetising it like they want to would only make the problem bigger. By making people finacially worse off, they will care less about carbon and feel legitimised in releasing more carbon because they are paying for it anyway.

Total backwards way of thinking and iced with propaganda. All those swearing by the so called facts should be charges with attempted fraud.

This should cast a very dark shadow over quite a few, for want of a better word "parasite's", which should give us time to dissconnect them from the mechanism they use to suck the lifeblood from our economies.

Thank you also to Henrik Svensmark, and especially Jasper Kirkby for being so relentless in finally getting the CERN management to allow them to use the CERN facilities to help those who paid for it with time and hard work as taxes, after all weall paid for it. I think.

And thanks also to Sol for protecting us from the nasty cosmic rays.
I for one am very hopefull the offenders will be made accountable so that some real science can start to be done which actually helps mankind progress. There is always hope.

As you can see in the American Ruling Class Thread, they do not want to change anything, what they do not want to change, like this big 9/11 Lie with a flawed final Report, where probatly close 3000 Victims are not aware of, that obviously the Gouvernment did kill their Familys

It seems for me more like it is a big bad Show about Marketing and her so called 'Good Idea of an Invention" what they bring into the Market and make the Big Bucks from it.
Anyone merrit at it, Gouvernements, Marketing Companys, Manufactors with theyr Eco Crap, because mostly they dont save Energy, only use the half with half Efficience,and of course the Economy, because someone can sell his new Crap, and at last, give a Base for a Global Gouvernement, not a strong one, but the beginning from the Pest.
It does not seem that there are some really interested in real Science, only at a Science what serve them, no matter, how right or wrong it is, but mainly match her Target, to sell and give out the Things, what they want to sell and make more and more Money from it.
Or else, -uuh huu- so much Jobs will be lost, what keep the Wheel of this sick Economy running.
